Four consultation focuses, one session at a time

Every session is a single consultation meeting, paid on its own. There is no required package, no membership, and no minimum number of sessions. You bring one question; the hour goes to that question.

The four focuses below are the ones that come up most often from people on Yanghwa-ro and across Seoul. If your situation sits between two of them, the contact form lets you say so.

Sessions are built around your numbers on the table, not a fixed curriculum.

The four focuses

  1. Career-transition planning. Leaving a long employer run, moving between companies, or stepping out of employment entirely. We look at severance terms, pension rollover, health insurance gaps, and the cash runway into the next role.
  2. Variable-income smoothing. Freelancers, contract designers, studio engineers, and anyone whose income arrives in uneven slices. We build a smoothing structure across thin and fat months rather than a monthly budget that breaks in week three.
  3. Severance and lump-sum allocation. A single severance or bonus payment can sit at the centre of a year. We weigh emergency cushion, debt clearing, tax timing, and what to leave invested — in that order, against your actual numbers.
  4. Offer and benefits review. A second pair of eyes on a new offer — base, variable pay, equity terms, and the benefits that matter in a Korean employment context — before you sign.

What a session costs

A single consultation session is KRW 150,000 for a one-hour session and the written summary that follows. There is no charge for the first email exchange, which decides whether a session is a good fit for you. The fee, credentials, and commercial terms on this page are proposed, pending business confirmation; this site takes no payment.

What a session does not do

  • It does not sell investment products on commission. No fund, insurance policy, or savings plan is sold inside a session.
  • It does not replace a licensed tax accountant or lawyer for filings, disputes, or representation. Where that work is needed, we say so and point outward.
  • It does not promise market returns or publish performance figures. Variable income is unpredictable enough without inventing numbers about it.
