From first email to written summary

A consultation is not a sales call and not a fixed workshop. It is one individual meeting, structured around the question you bring. The five steps below are the same for every client, whether the session is in person on Yanghwa-ro or over a video call.

The session itself is step three of five.
  1. 01

    First email

You send your situation in outline through the contact form — no documents yet. We reply within two business days to confirm whether a session suits your situation, and if so, which focus fits.

  2. 02

    Prep list

Before the session you receive a short prep list: the last twelve months of income and spending, the offer or severance letter if there is one, and the single question you most need answered. Nothing is uploaded through this site.

  3. 03

    The session

One hour, in person on Yanghwa-ro or over a video call. The hour goes to your numbers and your question, not to a slide deck. We weigh options out loud and write down what we agree on.

  4. 04

    Written summary

Within two business days you receive a short written summary: what was discussed, the options weighed, and the concrete next steps you decided on. It is yours to keep and to take to a tax accountant or lawyer if needed.

  5. 05

    Follow-up window

For two weeks after the session you can send follow-up questions about the summary by email at no extra charge. After that, a new question is a new session.

Who a session is for — and not for

A session is for someone with a real career or income change in front of them and a willingness to bring their own numbers. It is not for anyone looking for guaranteed returns, a managed portfolio, or a chat that ends with a product sale. If your situation needs a filing, a dispute, or representation, the session will say so and stop there.

What to bring

  • Twelve months of income and spending — bank statements or a simple spreadsheet both work.
  • The offer letter, severance letter, or contract driving the question, if there is one.
  • A short note on what you want the session to actually settle — one question is enough.
